A good morning that started before I parked the car. Had a Godwit flyover on the road to the breachway. Unfortunately it was pre-dawn, so even thought it looked dark, the lighting conditions were such I don't have a good call whether it is Hudsonian or Marbled. The Tricolor Heron was seen on the point right before I arrived, but flew into the marsh (and the sun) and did not show up again while I was there. The Whimbrels did - two fairly close in a nearby pond but from a photo POV -- not great. Still lovely morning with lots of birders & photographers.
