Best known as Rhode Island?s own nude beach until the early 90?s when it was banned for good. Supposedly it was to save endangered birds (Piping Plover) breeding ground, but I think it was a more human objection. It is lovely, but again only really a seasonal option because of parking restrictions from Memorial Day - Labor Day.
