The channel between WInnapaug Salt Pond and the Atlantic Ocean. Waterfowl loves this body of water in winter - Loons, Eider and Mergansers float and dive with Gulls looking on for opportunity to steal their catch. A Greater Black-backed Gull like to hang on a big rock near the bridge. Lots of public parking and walkability to the ocean on both sides of the breachway.
