Tried to do some clean up on my year list this week and was mostly successful -- although lots of Connecticut Warblers have been spotted which would be a life bird for me -- none spotted by me.
A trip to Snake Den farm for the Lincoln's Sparrow which I saw but didn't get a photo -- ran into some other birders too -- Barbara and Bill Gearhart & P Carl. Always nice to get to visit with these lovely folks.
Was in Newport of a doctor's appointment and got some brief looks at a Yellow-breasted Chat, but a trip to Cumberland for a possible Buff-breasted Sandpiper was for naught and I'm still holding out hope that one will show up at Quonnie. Otherwise a nice variety of birds.
