Always look at least twice

Good lesson for me this morning -- I saw a Sandpiper of approximately the same size as the one I saw yesterday in the same area. I almost didn't take a photo -- but I'm glad I did. It was not the same species -- I had to retract my ID and the text I had sent telling folks yesterday's bird was still there. My lesson -- NEVER assume it's the same bird without really looking. Birding humbles me once again.
