Amazing St. Marks

St. Marks National Wildlife Refuge – You could probably spend a week here and not make it to every part of this Refuge – it is expansive. My main purpose here was to add an American Flamingo to my life list and I did. I concentrated my efforts on the Lighthouse Trail & Pools where the Flamingo had been hanging out lately. It was there along with @92 other species. It was wonderful and not as overwhelming as say Merritt Island because the numbers were more manageable. Great diversity is a fairly manageable area. I didn’t walk at all – but there were opportunities to do so. One of my favorite places.
