My passion is not only birds, but bird spectacles! I got to see one tonight and just down the street. There were 30+ Common Nighthawks filling the sky over the pond where the Gallinule & Sora were. Someone asked me if this happens every year and I honestly don't know, but you can be sure I will check here next year before I drive anywhere else to find this bird. My first Common Nighthawk photos - not perfect - they are fast and it was getting dark but I'm happy. What a night!
