Birding Mile Wide Rd/Avra Valley—Reservation Road

Mile Wide Road is close to the Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum @4 miles and the birding trail continues up Reservation Road.  There were several other birders who helped me get on the bird.  I could tell they were birders who had found something because their car was haphazardly parked and the doors were open.  They were standing on the berm and got me on the birds – heard and saw through my bins but no photo was possible.

Lots of birds perched on the telephone wires – some surprising.

This was entirely birded from the car. It was12:30ish and I was tired (up early every day including tomorrow) and puckish.  I went to Trader Joe’s to get some food because there are no Grocery stores or restaurants for that matter in my next destination Portal.  Early to bed.
