Lucky us to have another day birding with Larry -- he was determined to find what was left of our target list. We met at the Whole Foods parking lot and took off for the area around A.D. Barnes Park for some exotics.
Yellow-chevroned Parakeet

Red-masked Parakeet

Orange-winged Amazon

Feral Cat on a Hot Roof!

Next stop is in a yard near where Larry's brother used to live. The owner (who wasn't home) lets Larry and guests visit his feeders whenever and boy are they good feeders. Nothing was happening when we first arrived, but look at flew in...
Chestnut-fronted Macaw

Red-masked Parakeet

Mitered Parakeet

Mitered & Red-masked Parakeet

Chestnut-fronted Macaw

All three!

Male crested Anole

Female crested Anole

Indian Peafowl (Female)

Off to Pine Woods Park -- in search of the Spot-breasted Oriole, which eventually flew in. Larry said he has never seen one on the ground before, so we got a good show!

I happened to spot this Blue Indigo in a nearby tree

Although Larry heard it several times the Red-whiskered Bulbul did not reveal itself.
Last stop for the day was Topeekeegee Yugnee Park, a long drive, for the Blue-crowned Parakeet, which was vocalizing right by the restrooms (always our first stop)

Cindy & Larry searched for and found the Mottled Duck too!
What a pleasure to bird with someone so capable and funny. Hope to do another tour with him someday -- he does a Praire Chicken tour, so you never know.
Here is Larry's website if you are looking for a guide.
Snuck in a visit with Sallie & Tim in Ocean Ridge and Sallie was made Cindy a to-go dinner! Half day of birding before departure tomorrow.
