Forest for the Trees

Spring used to be my favorite season. I loved the sudden explosion of green. Now it is annoying me. I’m used to being able to photograph birds in trees. That is now an extremely difficult task. Here’s how it goes.

Bird lands in tree.

Wind blows leaves and covers bird.

Bird jumps to another branch.

Partial bird is visible, but not a part that will help Merlin identify it.

Bird flies off.

Rinse.

Repeat.

It makes for a fairly frustrating outing.

It looks like I am going to have to change my strategy as the leaves grow daily despite my frustration and angst.

I can’t see the birds for the trees.
