Mary Lou's Feeders

The last full day in Minnesota - extremely windy (Owls do not like wind) but some lovely experiences anyway.  Mary Lou's Feeders are iconic in the Bog -- her neighbor across the street hates birders and has even yelled at Alex on occasion. Trust me the feeders are worth the hassle, even in the wind.

We had a few birds on the way...

Ah but Mary Lou's (she even has a heated outhouse - though the heat was unplugged when we were there).

We were running out of new birds to find (at 903) – although every new bird we’ve seen except the White-winged Crossbill, has been a great experience.  Lots of time, behavior and photos.  Can not complain.

An Evening Grosbeak video where you can see how windy it was...
