November Already????
So here's the Reader's Digest condensed version of what's happened since the last post about Rhode Island. I was planning on going to the Eastern Andes in Colombia (outside of Cali) until the US raised the Travel Alert to 4-DO NOT TRAVEL. Although the tour company offered an alternative, I took it as a sign I should not be traveling at the moment.
I'm looking at maybe doing a week in Belize in January, but have to juggle a few commitments and I want to wait to see the political situation here post election. I hope to make a decision before I write "December Already???" but time is really flying.
In the end of September there were lots of birds at Quonnie...
Double-crested Cormorant & Gulls

Red-throated Loon

Tree Swallows

This Lesser Black-backed Gull has been hanging around Misquamicut State Beach...

Molting Fish Crow

Didn't get out much in October -- lousy weather and not a ton of birds. Here's hoping November is an improvement!
