On the Road Again...

Decided at the last minute to head for South Jersey & Delaware primarily to see the Snow Geese before they are gone. Had a little diversion on the way down when I hit Assunpink Wildlife Management Area about an hour north of Brigantine which was my first day destination. It's a beautiful peaceful quite spot in the early morning and I was lucky to see a life bird - Trumpeter Swan shortly after sunrise.

Headed south and started the Edwin B. Forsythe Wildlife Drive about 9:30. 2,500 Snow Geese -- tons of ducks and a fairly cooperative American Bittern. Going back in the morning then on a ferry to Delaware.
