Had a nice birding morning -- spent some time with a HUGE flock of blackbirds, saw birds walking on ice, found two unusual gulls (one of which is not new) and a Grebe from my car (so I was warm and comfy). Came upon 5 Black Vultures in the middle of the road -- not giving an inch to cars while eating a rabbit. Discovered a new part of Connecticut near me that has gorgeous hills & farms with tons of birds -- just basic ones, but it was fabulous! I am happy.
