Spring is almost here

I am starting to feel like Spring is winding up to be sprung. Birds are coming back it bits and pieces and making the birding more interesting. Most of the snow is finally gone, but its left a ton of water and flatted habitat. Honestly, just less birds. I'm hoping it is anomaly and fearing it is not.

Probably my best day in the past few weeks was when I was scouting for a Big Day I was doing with my friend Cindy (who is going to Florida with me in April). I went to Sachuest Salt Marsh and spotted a Short-eared Owl as soon as I arrived. Had a great visit.
