What a beautiful day! Started in Succotash visiting with the Long-billed Dowitcher again. Moved on to look unsuccessfully for a very blue Little Blue Heron. However, when I got there I was greeted by not one, but two Green Herons (and as Snowy Egret). Green Herons are actually my favorite Herons -- it was great to see them back. Checked out the Turf fields & such for an Upland Sandpiper (again to no avail) and went to Trustom to hand off my old scope. Saw my friend Nick - always a pleasure but two days in a row, my cup runneth over. Had a good discussion on where to find early Warblers that is the source of tomorrow's birding plan (Thanks Carlos!).
