The Other side of Rhode Island

This morning I went to the "other" side of Rhode Island to see Ibis. Yesterday there were 200 Glossy Ibis and 2 White-faced Ibis. When I got there this morning, there were zero Ibis. They started flying in about 7:30ish, but 20-30 NOT 200. Stayed for 2 hours, but their numbers were not increasing and I didn't see any good candidates for the White-faced, so I bailed and then dipped on the Little Blue Heron again on the way home. I really need to stop chasing things.

I did have a bird moment with a Red-tailed Hawk in Portsmouth, it flew from a tree to the ground and exhibited some interesting behavior. Thank goodness for that! Well and it was gorgeous day to be outside. PS -- the light was not with me.
