I've been looking for a Winter Wren since they first showed up last year. My friend Sue sees one just about twice a week and always tells me where -- but I didn't find it. Someone told me last year that they have a most unforgettable song -- I finally heard it live today and I will not forget it. I had just about given up on the Winter Wren for the season and there it was. A lifer!
245 - Life Birds, 237 - Rhode Island Life Birds, 146 - 2021 Birds. Last year at this point in the year I had 77 birds.
