I’m not sure why, but when I go to a new hiking spot, I inevitably pick the most challenging trail.
I’m not trying to do that.
I’m trying NOT to do that.
I do the research, so why does this keep happening? It is my biggest complaint about the trail information on the web. It does not highlight what I need to know. How steep is it and where. It is a well-groomed trail. Are there lots of roots and stones?
Or maybe the information is there, I’m just not reading it right. But I don’t think so. Maybe I need to write a trail guide for hikers looking for a nice walk without too many obstacles.
