This morning I had planned to take a walk at Trustom with my neighbor Ann. We made the plan when it was supposed to be 35, it was 15 when we arrived this morning. We adapted and went to Beavertail, where we could take multiple short walks, and go back to the car to warm up. It actually warmed up quickly and we saw lots of birds. She had wanted to see the rare gull that has been hanging out in Narragansett, so after a short detour (because I missed the turn) we headed down and the Black-headed Gull was waiting for us in the parking lot but we checked out the beach anyway (Ann is still learning the territory out east).
It is snowing now, so I'm glad to be inside. Will start cooking soon - my sister's family are coming to dinner. Hope you are enjoying your Saturday, tucked in safe and warm.
