Went to visit the Common Gallinule and Sora for the third day in a row. I can't help it -- it is so unusual to have the pleasure of the company of these birds AND the light was better. I stopped by in the morning, but only the Gallinule was visible. This afternoon the Sora was out when I arrived, but ducked (see what I did there) into the reeds before I got my camera up. It came out two more times while I was there. I am so grateful to live in a place with such wonders close at hand.
