Things are picking up at bit

June is traditionally a slow month for Rhode Island Birding, but as July ramps up for August, things get busy, but inconsistently busy. One day there will be a huge number of birds, and the next -- very few. Although things are busy getting ready to leave for South Africa in early August, I still try to get out at least 3 or 4 times a week to visit with my friends -- avian and human.
