Last night at a birder's happy hour I mentioned I was one bird away from 300 life birds in RI. The natural question was - what bird are you looking for. But I did not have an answer. I looked at my list today and besides my nemesis bird - Nelson's Sparrow there are two warblers that would be nice -- Kentucky Warbler & Mourning Warbler. Both of them were seen in RI last year, but are not always here. So I'm putting it out there (which surprisingly often leads to the bird showing up) -- but who knows what fascinating vagrant might fly in.
