Busy week

So besides birding and it being May, I rescued two Bengal cats on Friday. In New Jersey -- after a six hour drive for me and a three hour one for the kitties, they took up residence in my powder room (which is where their litter pan resides). They almost immediately took up residence on the deep shelf (way in the back) above the little pan. So I gave them food & water and let them be. I'm working on names and introducing them to the rest of the condo -- we're almost there. This was my favorite moment of the last few days, I returned home from birding to this.

Another sign from the Universe that these kitties were meant to be with me.

I have still managed to bird almost every day. Monday was in New Jersey and covered in the previous three blog posts. Tuesday I stayed on the South Coast and had bird moments with a number of birds -
