Rainy day -- some morning birding, but had a Dr. Appt and a lunch date when I got a text about a goose that was worth taking a look at after lunch. Just as we arrived it was confirmed as a Ross's Goose - a new bird for me (I actually thought it was going to be a Snow Goose -- not a new bird). Got a few crummy pics, but it brings my total for 2022 to 290 -- which was my goal. After than I made this mistake of driving down to Atlantic Avenue which is primarily flooded -- but I made it and was rewarded with a nice moody series of a lone Dunlin.
