My favorite bird

last week I managed to complete a small painting based on a lovely photo of a Hermit Thrush taken by a friend of mine. I don't usually paint from Other People's Photos because it leverages their composition, but something about this photo really spoke to me. I am pretty happy with it, but I may do it again larger and looser in the future, when I have some time. PS - my first painting of 2022 - glad I did one before March started.
