Shorebird Migration & Pelagic

Most of these two weeks were spent sitting at Quonnie with a post sit visit to Succotash (which was VERY slow) and the Turf fields (also slow). Then there was the Pelagic -- the day was beautiful, the sea was calm and the birds were plentiful, but I didn't see anything new. There was a Red-necked Phalarope, but I missed it (along with most of the rest of the boat). That is how it goes in the birding world -- timing is everything.

So here's some photos --

And just like that -- its September. Shorebird migration continues and fall migration in general should kick in soon.
