Started the week sick & fighting it off, so very little birding. Also working on a presentation for the Ocean State Bird Club in a few weeks.
Tuesday I did a quick drive out to Charlestown Breachway. A few ducks & a nice Red-Shouldered Hawk.

Wednesday I did a short local bird at Avondale Farm and didn't take any photos. Thursday I had a lunch in Warwick, so did a late morning bird at Appanoug Cove -- lots of the usual suspects when I arrived and I set about counting them all when suddenly they flushed... I mean all of them. Because I've been taught well, I knew that likely meant there was a raptor in the vicinity -- and there was. This lovely immature Bald Eagle. The second shot is it flying over my car (which I just had washed so I hope it didn't make a deposit)

Spent the weekend on Cape Cod -- no really exciting birds, but fun birding with my friend Theresa who is just learning. Of course we hit the Bird Watching General Store! Thanks to fellow birder Melissa for the recommendations. I was very proud of Theresa for picking out a Lesser Black-backed Gull & a Long-tailed Duck on her own. I added 13 birds to my Massachusetts Life list.
