Still Cold

COLD morning birding or maybe I am still not thawed out from yesterday, but the first two birds I saw were Owls -- one I couldn't positively ID the species and one Short-eared Owl. They usually winter around Moonstone, but this is the first of season. Nice way to start December! Also had an American Bittern flyover -- poor light, so lousy photos. Ended with some very cooperative Snow Buntings close to home.
