Wakodhatchee Morning

Finished fairly early today because I needed some time to organize, write and frankly, nap. I was at Wakodhatchee Wetland a little after 7am and I got the last parking space -- gasp. Lots of fitness walkers and honestly probably more of a photographers place than a place for birders. Very few people with just bins -- most had a major camera. One new life bird - White-winged Dove -- but just a fleeting look pointed out by another birder -- No photo. Did finally get a good shot of a Purple Gallinule and was treated to some Cattle Egret Copulation (Photo in next post). I think these are my most interesting photos yet, the birds are so close and not camera shy. After stopped by the Green Cay Wetlands to see the Painted Buntings that frequent the feeder there.
