I don't know if I will ever have a birding week like this again. 3 life birds - today's a Western Tanager found as part of the Christmas Bird Count. I did not get a photo - too many branches. 2 long Owl encounters and this morning I was lucky enough to see 3 Bald Eagles in the field next to Trustom. On Friday I had the honor of being with my friend Maria when she saw her 100th Rhode Island bird for the year. I should mention she really only started in June -- so next year -- watch out! I am pinching myself, I should be so lucky the next 12 days.
