My bird moment of the day -- Keeping with our recent mating behavior theme... An American Woodcock decided to dance across the road on my way back from the sand trail in Weekapaug. Took my breath away. It had the good artistic sense to choose a place with decent lighting & kept the spotlight for a good five minutes - didn't even seem to care about the car or me. I LOVE this bird. Watch the video -- you won't regret it.
