A Visit Day with a little birding thrown in

Woke early & enjoyed some quiet time before sunrise & it was foggy again.  Went to “breakfast” @10:30 at “the Kettle” which held me all day.  We did some birding in Marina Del Rey but pretty casual, also had some nice birds on Nancy’s Patio.

Wasn’t expecting a lot of birding, it was a visit day with Nancy. Just a Black Phoebe ready for it’s close up, a Great Egret at Ballona Preserve, Orange Crowned Warbler & Yellow-rumped Warbler (Audubon’s - we have mostly Myrtle in RI)on Nancy’s patio & the view from my hotel room in Ventura Harbor - can’t get any closer than this to the Marina.

Drove to Ventura Harbor for 2 nights in a hotel. Birding around Venture & Oxnard tomorrow - hoping for less fog & better photos.
