Another great day, this time in San Diego with my friend Martha. Sometimes Martha has Burrowing Parakeets fly over her house in the early morning – so we started there - had some Hummingbirds, a Phainopepla (her first in her yard) & and Orange-crowned Warbler. Off to the Zoo parking lot for a few Orioles & on to Hilltop Park for a Greater Pewee (a new hotspot for Martha).

Martha works in the afternoon, so I hit Trader Joe’s and relaxed until it was time to go to the Parrot Roost in the evening- it was Awesome watching them land en masse in the pine trees.
